Although they don’t need any confirmation, those from Rockstar Games have seven new reasons to enjoy the impact of the new GTA 5.
If the spectacular positive reviews, parodies and fabulous number of GTA 5 players didn’t cleared to mention a great success in industry, Guinness book might convince you. Through a recent release of Guinness World Records, we find that the recently launched Grand Theft Auto series took no less than seven different positions in the popular book.
Records are the best-selling video game type action adventure in 24 hours, the best-selling video game in 24 hours, the fastest entertainment mode reaching a revenue of one billion dollars, a video game soon reached the one billion dollar receipts, the highest grossing video game in 24 hours, the highest revenue generated by an entertainment product in 24 hours, the most watched trailer for the action adventure game.
If there is a title for the Guinness World Record held several positions simultaneously for a video game would win on that too. Meanwhile, GTA Online is another resounding success derived from GTA 5 and is only a matter of time before we see most of the bugs in the game’s online component resolved. Who knows, maybe they will grow back sales.
Performance described above is even more spectacular as we do not mention a title like Call Of Duty Ghosts, which will be released on whole range of platforms – PC, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Wii U.
GTA 5 covered everything releasing only on Xbox 360 and PS3. Regarding the other versions of the game, there are only rumors that they reach a point on the PC and next generation consoles.
Below you can see the trailer that started the hysteria, this was the first official clip from GTA 5 and record holder of the above rows.
