While many talk about the future flexible screen smartphones, Samsung will launch a device whose display can be flexible. Asian manufacturer will use a type of OLED display flexibility to achieve a curved display. It will expand as the side areas of the smartphone, which are used to display a notification. A prototype of this type of smartphone was announced early at CES. It had a screen of 5.5″, but the manufacturer will not use for the first commercial device. Shortly before the official announcement, on the internet appeared partial specifications of the phone.
Samsung smartphone will have a curved screen diagonal of 4.7″ with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. Since the sides are areas that may be posted, something makes me think that the true resolution of the display will be slightly higher. The housing will be a quad core chipset and having 2 GB RAM.
If the chipset model is not specified, amount of RAM makes us believe that it will not be a slow device. The operating system will be running on Android 4.3. On the back of the smartphone will find a camera with 8 MP sensor and dual LED flash. It is surprising that Samsung has managed to keep the phone very well hidden from the press. The official announcement is expected soon but we do not even have an unofficial image of the phone.
