The nation’s fastest 4G network, AT&T opened a brand new flagship store in New York City yesterday, marking the latest in series of new locations meant to provide an engaging space filled with brand new smartphones and tablets. It’s competitor Verizon is also opening flagship stores with the first one located at the Mall of America in Minnesota. AT&T was the first out of all wireless providers to open a flagship store, opening the first one in Chicago. AT&T is calling the flagship store a “redesigned retail experience” offering the consumers a place to explore new technology and speak with a AT&T representative through the store.
The store is made up of three main zones, allowing better customer experience all through the store. The first zone, Connected Zone takes up the front of the store, demonstrating what your mobile can do. The second zone, Community Zones features two large tables demonstrating the carrier’s complete ecosystem. The last zone located in the back, Explore Zone features a wall of screens showing off everything the carrier has to offer.
The new store is located in mid-town Manhattan on West 57th Street.
